Alleged burglar faces dozen charges

A MAN facing a dozen charges, including an alleged burglary and assuming the name of a police officer with intent to mislead, will remain in custody.

The South Burnett man's charges were mentioned in Kingaroy Magistrates Court yesterday.

The defendant faces a charge of burglary as an indictable offence and domestic violence offence.

He also faces one count of robbery as a domestic violence offence, and one count of wilful damage as a domestic violence offence.

He also faces three trespass charges, a bail condition breach and contravention of a domestic violence order.

The defendant is also charged with possessing dangerous drugs, one count of a police protection notice and driving without a licence, disqualified by a court order.

He also faces one count of assuming the name of a police officer with the intent to mislead.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court for committal mention on June 10.
