Assistance for not for profits
HELP is at hand if you are part of a Burnett not for profit organisation and not sure where the funds will come from for your next project.
Burnett not-for-profit economic development organisation, BIEDO, will be hosting their first quarterly Grant-ED Session next Wednesday, September 19, at Kingaroy Town Hall.
The theme is tips, tools and teamwork and it will be a great opportunity to learn more about the Gambling Community Benefit Fund from members of the committee.
BIEDO CEO Kristy Frahm said there will be extremely valuable information shared on the night and invited those who have experience with grant writing to come forward and share.
"We will share some useful tips and resources to assist with your grant writing endeavours and would love to hear from others about their grant writing experiences,” she said.
Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce president, Rob Fitz-Herbert encouraged all not for profit groups to attend.
"It's a great opportunity for our region to learn how to apply for much needed funding,” he said.
Hosted by BIEDO, the first quarterly grant writing session will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall supper room from 6pm-8.30pm on Wednesday 19 September.
Cost is $10 and attendees are asked to RSVP by Monday September 17 on 0400 695 456.
