Two cyclists taken to hospital after two separate crashes
7.20am: A SECOND cyclist has been taken to hospital after two separate accidents in Frenchville this morning.
Reports indicate a 26-year-old male was taken to hospital as a precaution after an accident with a car on the corner of Jard St and Frenchville Rd.
A man in his 40s was also taken to hospital after a crash on the corner of Dean St and Frenchville Rd. This cyclist has hip pain and was in a stable condition.
6.55am: ONE man has been taken to hospital from one of the two accidents in Frenchville this morning.
The Queensland Ambulance Service reports a male cyclist in his 40s with hip pain and in a stable condition was taken to Rockhampton Hospital.
The cyclist was hit by a car Dean St and Frenchville Rd, Frenchville at 6.15am.
6.30am: EMERGENCY services are responding to reports of a second accident involving another cyclist in Frenchville.
The new reports indicate there is a second accident involving a cyclist and a vehicle - this accident is on the corner of Jard st and Frenchville Rd.
It is believed a 26-year-old male cyclist is involved in the second crash.
No information about possible injuries from either crash are available yet.
6.25am: EMERGENCY services are responding to an accident in Frenchville where a cyclist and a vehicle have collided.
Reports indicated the crash has occurred on the corner of Dean St and Frenchville Rd.
There is no indication of injuries yet.
