Blackwater man is Gavin Williamson's missing ‘angel’
GAVIN Williamson's missing "angel" has been found.
Blackwater man Adam Bush was the first on scene when Gavin lost a leg in a motorcycle crash on Gladstone Rd, Rockhampton, last year.
He was one of five strangers who helped to save Gavin's life.
Since then, Gavin had managed to find all of his heroes, except Adam.
Adam contacted The Morning Bulletin after an article published on Wednesday called for public help to find Gavin's mystery angel.
Adam said he was working in Westwood at the time of the accident.
"I was coming into Rocky to grab some things from an electrical wholesaler," he said. "It happened right in front of me but I didn't see it.
"I thought there was just rubbish on the road but then I realised it was the bike."
Adam said he jumped out of his vehicle and ran over to where Gavin was.
"He was bleeding a lot," he said.
"I held the vein or artery in his leg. I was just hoping he'd be all right."
Adam said it still hadn't sunk in that he had saved someone's life.
"I'd do it again," he said.
"I guess you just help out a person in need."
Gavin said he was looking forward to finally "putting it all together" and taking his five "angels" out for dinner.
