Bonus of solar for local businesses

IF YOU'RE a business owner in the South Burnett, you might want to consider the benefits that solar power could bring you.

Evolution Solar owner Stevan Tilley said that when it comes to businesses in the region, many are getting into solar power.

"It's ideal for them,” he said.

"If they own a building, there's no reason why they shouldn't have solar power.

"Even if they rent the building, they can get a permission letter from the owner allowing them to get solar, and we'll do the job for them.”

Mr Tilley said the clients he has installed solar panels for have all found it to be a good investment.

"We do a range of systems around the South Burnett, with a lot of them being 30KW systems. We'll do larger systems if they're required, too,” he said.

"Kewpie's currently have a 30KW system but are now looking into getting another 20KW system with us.

"The Kingaroy Hospital are getting a 170KW system, and Aldi are getting a 100KW system.”

Mr Tilley said there are a lot of systems getting put in around the South Burnett area, which he believes shows that the investment into solar energy is turning out to be worthwhile.

"After 10 years of service, being continuously contacted by these local businesses shows that we have a good reputation and a great product,” he said.

Evolution Solar are also hoping to contribute to the upcoming solar farm which has been approved to come to the region.
