Burnett business to benefit from workshop

IN BUSINESS, great things are not achieved by one person but rather by a team working as one.

South Burnett businesses will learn the skills to strengthen their business when Australian business mentor Jo Eady is in town to run an effective mentoring session at Kingaroy TAFE on Monday, February 25.

It is the final workshop hosted by the Red Earth Community Foundation in their Building Better Regions series.

Ms Eady is looking forward to sharing the ripple effect of mentoring into communities when businesses and individuals use this tool.

"By the end of the day, my goal for everyone there is to leave with enthusiasm and motivation to become involved in mentoring at the level you want to be, whether that is as an individual mentor, in a business or community context,” she said in a video on the foundation's Facebook page.

"I want to leave you with a kit bag of tools and techniques that you can use to make sure your mentoring is effective and you support yourself and the people who are involved with you.

"I will share with you some of the community programs and mentoring initiatives that I have been involved with and I know you will share your lessons and findings as well.”
