Business continues to takes care of community after 10 years

THE owners of Evolution Solar don't take being business owners in the South Burnett lightly.

Owner Stevan Tilley said while maintaining their business they used their position to do their best to help community groups around the region.

During the past 10 years of business, Mr Tilley said the business had sponsored many sporting teams within the South Burnett.

"We do what we can to help out,” he said.

"We're in business to make money of course, but we make sure to put our feelers out there and understand that people may need help, while learning how we can help them.

"The grandkids still do chocolate runs, and we will often help out the Boondooma Dam and their fishing projects.”

Mr Tilley said the business had also been involved in a lot of charity auctions.

He said as a local business, the Evolution Solar team knew how the community worked.

"I'm not just doing jobs to only sell the product,” Mr Tilley said.

"I'm not that type of person. Our whole business is here to help the community.”

Mr Tilley said helping the community also meant delivering great prices.

"We've done a lot of fighting to get our good prices early on in the business, and dealing with the politics of solar power,” he said.

"Now, it's 10 years in, and we've definitely come a long way to deliver the best product and price.”
