Clive storms off from Lambie's ice bucket challenge
PERHAPS growing tired of having to spend the first days of Spring away from his Sunshine Coast electorate, Clive Palmer last night lashed out on camera, storming away from a Channel 10 producer.
The party leader emptied a bucket of ice, swore and left in the moments before he was due to appear alongside Senator Jacqui Lambie on The Project.
Senator Lambie took the Ice Bucket Challenge live on The Project to raise awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease research.

The ABC reports Mr Palmer was to be the one dousing his loyal senator, but fled after spotting a second bucket of ice he thought was earmarked for him.
"Look, that's the last time I'm on The Project. Goodbye," Mr Palmer told the Channel 10 producer as he responded, "Can I just explain?"
ABC reporter James Glenday asked, "Why that reaction? What were you worried was going to happen?"
"Nothing," Mr Palmer said.
"It just seemed like it was a rather an extreme reaction to..."
"Well, I've got no comments to make."
Senator Lambie's drenching went off without a hitch, though when asked if her leader would take the challenge she said, "I can't see him doing it today, no."
The icy fracas followed a deal struck between the Palmer United Party and the Federal Government to dismantle the Mining Tax and freeze compulsory superannuation increases for at least seven years.
The School Kids Bonus -- which was to be scrapped alongside the mining tax -- has received a stay of execution.
