Drunk driver takes off after hitting fence

A DRUNK driver will face court after running into a fence and then driving off.

Kingaroy Police officers were called to a Tuite St address on Wednesday November 7 at 4.05pm, after a Ford Falcon left the road and struck a fence before driving off.

Police officers located the vehicle and the 29-year-old man at a neighbouring address.

The driver allegedly provided a positive result to a Roadside Breath Test of 0.205 per cent.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 12 and was charged with allegedly driving whilst UIL, unlicensed driving and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
