EAGLE OF THE WEEK: Meet Ethan Norris
THE region's aspiring rugby league stars are making their mark on the Toowoomba Rugby League competition this season as part of the South Burnett Eagles Under-18 team.
This week we meet 17-year-old Ethan Norris who played his junior rugby league with the Highfields and District Junior Rugby League Club.
What is your favourite position?
Front row because I like running the ball and if I get hit I will run again.
What is your favourite thing about rugby league?
My mates and I just love playing the game.
Who has had the biggest influence on you as a rugby league player?
My dad because he played all his junior career and he has had a big influence on me.
What advice would you give to a young kid starting the sport?
Keep playing, keep with the game and don't give up because you will enjoy it when you get older. It gets more fun when you get older, under-16s has been my favourite year so far.
What is your favourite rugby league memory?
Winning the U12 grand final for Highfields. It was amazing to win a grand final for my mates down there.

Cameron Smith because I have always liked him.
