Five airlifted from South Burnett crashes at the weekend

FIVE people were airlifted after several crashes in the South Burnett over the weekend.

On Saturday morning, a person was airlifted after a crash near Blackbutt.

A single-motorbike crash occurred on the D'Aguilar Highway at 7.42am.

The patient was airlifted to the Toowoomba Hospital in a serious, but stable condition.

Later that evening, three more people were airlifted after a truck ran into a tree at Moore.

The truck ran into the tree along the D'Aguilar Highway and Arababy Creek Road at 9.13pm.

Paramedics treated on man in his 30s who was initially trapped with leg injuries.

A woman in her 30s had back injuries and a teenage boy had shoulder injuries.

All three patients were airlifted in a stable condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

On Sunday, another man was airlifted after a serious crash at Chahpingah.

The horror head-on crash occurred on Kingaroy Burrandowan Rd at 12.50pm.
