Five things to do in the South Burnett this weekend
THE markets will return to the Nanango Showgrounds from 6am until noon.
A variety of craft stalls, new and used goods, plants, poultry and pets will be on offer.
Yarraman horse ride
THE 22nd annual Yarraman Horse Ride will start at 8am from the Yarraman Showgrounds.
Free camping will be available at the showgrounds on Friday and Saturday night, and meals will be available for purchase from Friday night through to Sunday morning.
Walk around Queensland in Kingaroy
QUEENSLAND Rural, Regional and Remote Women's Network will mark Queensland's Women's Week with a walk along the South Burnett Rail Trail.
To take part, meet at the Youngman St entry to the SBRT at 8am.
Storm Recovery barbecue at Mondure
SOUTH Burnett Regional Council and BIEDO will host a free Storm Recovery Community Barbecue at Mondure Hall from 3.30-7.30pm for people who were affected by recent storms.
THE Maidenwell Markets will be held at the centre island in the heart of town from 8am-noon.
There will be great variety at the markets including a range of arts and crafts, local produce, plants, home baking, sauces and jams.
