Five things to do in the South Burnett this weekend

1. Musical visits Kingaroy

MENOPAUSE the Musical will entertain the crowd at the Kingaroy Town Hall from 7:30pm-9pm.

The show was inspired by a hot flush and a bottle of wine and is created to entertain and celebrate growing old.

2. Nanango Show

THE Nanango community will turn out in support of the town's show on Saturday.

There is sure to be something the whole family will enjoy with monster trucks, rock climbing, rodeo, live music, a baby animal farm, fireworks and much more.

Entry is $15 for adults, $10 for pensioners and children over 14 while children under 14 can enter for free when accompanied by an adult.

3. Wondai Street Sprints

Saturday and Sunday

MOTOR sport enthusiasts will flock to Wondai this weekend for the annual street sprints.

Racing will start from 8.30am on Saturday and continue at 8am on Sunday.

Car and motorbike lovers will also have the chance to showcase their vehicles at the show and shine on Sunday.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate on both Saturday and Sunday.

4. Gem show in Kingaroy

THE Kingaroy showgrounds will host the gem, rock and lapidary show this weekend from 9am-4pm.
