Five things to do this weekend

1. Cheer on the kart drivers

MOTOR sport enthusiasts can come along to the South Burnett Kart Hire tracks over the weekend to watch the AusKart racing.

Entry is free for spectators, with the karts due to start their engines around 9.30am both mornings and finish up late on Saturday night and at midday on Sunday.

2. Get your photo with Baconman

HEAD on down to Kingaroy shoppingworld on Saturday morning for your sizzling preview of BaconFest.

The Little Butcher will be running a barbecue serving bacon-themed tasters.

BaconMan will be there between 10am and 12pm for free professional photos, and exclusive BaconFest merchandise will also be for sale.

3. Grab a bargain

SPEND the morning wandering through the Wooroolin Community Markets from 6am to midday on Saturday morning.

4. Go window shopping

KINGAROY businesses have embraced the bacon fever by creating their shop displays for the BaconFest Street Window competition.

The judges announced their pick of the sizzling displays on Thursday.

Wander through and see which piggy display is your favourite ahead of the festival.

5. Watch a movie

SEE one of Kingaroy cinema's latest releases such as The Spy who Dumped Me, Bambi or Adrift.
