Footy finals hits the South Burnett

IT'S Saturday and football finals fever has struck the South Burnett.

Junior rugby league semi-finals will kick off proceedings at Nanango today. It will start off with the under-nines and go right through to the U16s. Full story and game times here.

Still at Nanango, the football preliminary finals will kick off with the second division Barambah v Wests game at 12.30pm. This will be followed by the Barambah v Wests women's game at 1pm. Then at 2.30pm the Wests v Gunners first division preliminary final will start. Read how your teams got into the finals here.

Aussie rules fans can witness history in the making as the South Burnett Saints break into the finals against former first division sides. The Saints will take on the Goondiwindi Hawks at 1.50pm in Kingaroy. Read what one of the competition's leading goal kickers thinks of the game here.
