CHRIS McQueen has gone from wearing the red jersey of the Kingaroy Red Ants to wearing Maroon for Queensland.
Last night the rugby league sensation was selected in the second row for Queensland's 2014 State of Origin team.
McQueen played all three games in last year's series, won by the Maroons 2-1.
Maroons coach Mal Meninga told qrl.com.au that he was pleased with the balance and stability of the side.
"Unfortunately Sam had to pull out because of a calf injury and young Aidan Guerra gets his opportunity," Meninga said.
"Aside from that, everyone is fit and healthy and raring to go."
