KINGAROY has once again proven its worth as a strong sporting town during the touch football grand finals this week.

Players dodged, dashed and dived their way through the two exciting finals games.

In the B-Grade final, Blake Who? were too good for a gallant Boggy Creek Bears team, winning 9-4.

The game had everything, from players being sent off for unsportsmanlike conduct, to placing the ball down for a try, only to realise it wasn't quite at the line.

Player of the final honours went to Ryan Gill.

In the A-Grade final, Gumps had too much for an ever-improving, Young Guns team, winning 7-3.

The Young Guns should be very proud of their achievements, playing some impressive lead up games just to make it to the big dance.

Player of the A-Grade final was the extraordinarily streamlined Adam Geiger.

Top male try scorers for the season was a tie between teammates, Patrick McCallum and David Ashby.

In the females, top try scorer was awarded to Taylah Favier from Gumps.

Adam Cardigan was male player of the season and Kayley Collins was female player of the season.
