Golden Days goes 18+ but look who is coming back to play
MUSIC festival favourites Grinspoon will return to the Sunshine Coast as one of the big acts at the Golden Days Festival.
Mark Pico, who is organising the music line-up, said the headliners would be joined by Seth Sentry and Ball Park Music.
The Golden Days event will be held in Coolum in November.
The festival has been modified to 18-plus ages for the first time.
"It gives us more freedom in the style of bands we can choose," Mr Pico said.
"It also gives us more scope to focus energy on the Eco Challenge, which we run with the Surfrider Foundation on the Sunday.
"The Eco Challenge is free and more family focused, so we'll have the best of both worlds over the two days."
Mr Pico recently put together the line-up for the successful Big Pineapple Festival.
"Grinspoon went off at the Pineapple Fest and were the most popular request to have play at Golden Days, while Seth Sentry, Ball Park Music, Sticky Fingers and Kingswood are the new breed of big bands coming through."
Tickets go on sale from 9am Monday at www.goldendaysfestival.com.
