Have your say on this Burnett town's new look

SOUTH Burnett residents can have their say about the new look for Murgon's CBD.

The South Burnett Regional Council has committed to undertaking an upgrade of the Murgon township footpaths in Lamb St.

This work is expected to start this year.

The council are seeking community feedback on the footpath design, as part of the final planning stage.

All four footpath options have the opportunity to celebrate the culture and history of Murgon, through imprinting patterns or elements in the pavement.

The patterns could imitate the local cropping techniques or treasured local plants and wildlife, these imprints could add depth and uniqueness to the street presence of Murgon.

The first option consists of the existing post office wide design for the footpath.
