Help Kalila and treat your mum with an afternoon out
SPEND the afternoon relaxing at Ringsfield House with your family for a Mother's Day afternoon tea.
The event on Saturday, May 11 will be raising money to train a special seizure-alert dog for Tingoora teenager Kalila Vukelic.
Kalila has a severe disability called Rett Syndrome and the Smart Pup would alert her of any oncoming seizures.
Her mother, Janine Vukelic, said there would be a raffle for the many generous donated prizes at the afternoon tea.
"It would be great for people to bring along their mums, but it is open to all men, women and children of course,” she said.
There will be live music entertainment during the afternoon from South Burnett performers.
"Particularly since Kalila loves music so much, it'll be nice for people to be singing for her,” Mrs Vukelic said.
The Mother's Day afternoon tea will run from 1.30pm to 4pm at Ringsfield house, 41/45 Alford St, Nanango.
Adult entry tickets will be $30 and children's prices will be $15.
Special dietary requests and payments must be made by May 1 2019.
Bookings can be made by contacting Robyn Garrels on 0409327321 or Janine Vukelic on 0458164459.
