How this Dalby business will boost local economy

IN WHAT will be a boost to the local economy, Dalby-based business Dingo has engaged in an exciting new collaboration.

Effective March 1, 2020 Wacker Neuson Australia Pty. Ltd. will become the exclusive distributor of Dingo Mini Digger/Loader Machines, Attachments and Parts for the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.

Dingo Mini Diggers Pty Ltd, manufacturers of the world-famous Dingo Mini Digger, and Wacker Neuson Australia Pty Ltd, Australia’s leading distributor of Construction and Light Equipment, had announced a multi-year strategic alliance to provide the most comprehensive range of Aussie-tough construction and light equipment to customers.

Regional president of Wacker Nueson Cameron Mole said the partnership had potential to expand their range of equipment, allowing them to cater to a larger audience.

“This alliance brings a range of high quality, highly regarded market proven machines that logically compliment and expand our range of ground preparation and excavation equipment to the ANZ markets,” Mr Mole said.

As one of the world’s leading construction and light equipment manufacturers, Wacker Neuson already provides world-class construction equipment to the Australian equipment market.

The new range of mini loaders will continue to be manufactured in Dalby, Australia by Dingo Mini Diggers/Loaders, under the Wacker Neuson brand.

As such, Wacker Neuson will now provide an unparalleled range of equipment and solutions to the hire, construction and landscape creation industries.

Managing director for Gingo Gary Briggs said the collaboration was a step forward for the two companies.

“This is a really exciting time for Dingo Australia. This alliance represents the next evolution for us as a Company,” said Mr Briggs.

“Our manufacturing expertise and history combined with Wacker Neuson’s national presence and support network will take both businesses to the next level.

“In working together, we have been able to make some exciting additions to the existing range, which will bring a wider and more keenly-priced mini-digger/loader machine range to the market, with the renowned Dingo reliability and strength, underpinned by Wacker Neuson’s proven sales and technical support network”.

“Supply of all Dingo attachments and parts will now be through the Wacker Neuson Australian and NZ network, supported by our National Parts Warehouse in Dalby”.

Dingo CEO said the partnership would have positive implications for the companies in the long-term as they look at how to expand their reach and audience.

“The alliance means that our proven range of the best and toughest mini-diggers/loaders will be available exclusively through Wacker Neuson Dealers and Agents for sales, parts and service. This alliance provides us with an exponentially wider geographic reach than we could attain on our own,” Mr May said.

“Combining the world’s best mini digger/loader with Wacker Neuson’s national dealer presence and proven sales, marketing and technical customer support expertise was a ‘win win’.

“It allows each of us to focus on what we excel at and lead the mini digger/loader market in Australia.

“We’ve already begun to hire new staff and are ramping up production capacity in light of the new agreement with Wacker Neuson Australia.”

“For almost 30 years, Dingo Mini Diggers has manufactured the world’s leading mini-digger/loader and attachments, here in Dalby. This new alliance means we will keep doing so for many more generations,” Mr Briggs said.
