Hunt for offenders after South Burnett properties robbed

INVESTIGATIONS are continuing as police search for offenders who stole axes, chainsaws, alcohol and an assortment of lights.

The unknown offender/s entered a property on Hillsdale Rd, Booie between June 13 and 17 and cut the locks to a shed.

On June 18, Kingaroy Police charged a 35-year-old Kingaroy man with one set of knuckledusters.

They were found in a BMW sedan the man was travelling in along Doonkuna St at 10am.

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 1 charged with unlawful possession of weapons.

In a separate incident, a white BMX bike was stolen from a backyard on King St.

The owner reported it stolen after he returned home and noticed it missing after being away from his property from between 10am to 2.45pm.

Investigations are still continuing.
