Kingaroy business owners selling up after 15 years

KINGAROY Fitness Centre owners Steve and Taleah Eckart are selling their business and prioritising family time after 15 years.

"I wish to have another child in the future and want to dedicate more time to my two-year-old daughter," Taleah said.

"I am wanting to still work within the gym part time but am happy to step down and pass over the baton to a new manager and owner."

WANT TO SEE MORE LIKE THIS?

Steve has owned the gym for 15 years and managed it himself for five and a half years before Taleah took over.

Inspiring South Burnett residents to achieve their fitness goals has been one the most rewarding things for Taleah.

"I like being able to challenge myself physically, mentally and emotionally by completing numerous forms of study and training methods," she said.

"I like working with such a diverse range of clients including children, disability and adults of all shapes and sizes.

"It's developed many skills I wouldn't have been able to do if I had a different job."

Taleah is proud of the centre's reputation as a friendly and family orientated gym and believes the flexibility and control it offers will be attractive to buyers

"Because Kingaroy Fitness isn't a franchise you are not bound by franchise rules and regulations."

"You can choose whatever equipment, classes, hours and staff you wish."
