Make holistic health care your priority
HEALTH is a priority for many people within the South Burnett region, but especially for Vital Health.
Darling Downs Centre Coordinator Amie Southern believes their broad range of health services all work together to deliver a holistic approach to the client's needs.
People in the South Burnett have the access to physiotherapy, exercise physiology, dietetics, occupational therapy, speech pathology and much more.
"Our team members aim to deliver their services in an approach that empowers clients to want to make their health a priority,” Ms Southern said.
"It is important that different conditions, injuries or issues all have different requirements for contact, though the Vital Health team can tailor a treatment plan for your lifestyle and budget.
"Our team members are also knowledgeable on what funding options are available and will work closely with your GP or specialist to ensure the best outcome for you.”
For those needing physiotherapy, Ms Southern is very proud to have their live-in full-time physiotherapist Diego Diehl on board at Vital Health's Kingaroy office.
"Diego has worked internationally and has owned his own allied health practice before moving to Australia and is a very experienced professional who Vital Health is proud to have as part of our Team,” she said.
"The Kingaroy community should feel at ease in having access to such an exceptional individual practising within this field.”
When it comes to some general health tips for keeping healthy, Ms Southern wants people to know that it is important to consider your health and well-being holistically.
"The best advice we can offer is to take the first step in the right direction by booking for a consult to discuss your goals with one of our professionals or requesting a referral from your GP,” she said.
