THOUSANDS visited the South Burnett on the weekend for the second annual Kingaroy BaconFest.
The weekend of fun kicked off on Friday night with Wine and Swine before runners and riders hit the rail trail for the rashers run and cycle race.
Glendon St was a hive of activity when the food markets opened on Saturday morning and the youngest attendees of BaconFest had fun at little piggies on Lard Lane.
Miss BaconFest was decided on the main stage while competitors gave it their all to win a year's supply of bacon.
BaconFest was an opportunity to remind consumers of the importance of supporting Australian pig farmers.
The final day of BaconFest got underway with the long table breakfast before the food markets opened.
Everyone had the chance to test their skills at the junior and senior Bacon Olympics.
The festival closed with the announcement of the winners of the smoke-off competition.
