Music night to get in tune for Centenary concert

A COMMUNITY orchestra will be presenting a night to remember for music lovers.

The South Burnett Community Orchestra string ensemble will be presenting their show from 6pm on Saturday June 16.

The show will be a special preview of some of the music to be performed at the orchestra's commemoration of the World War One Armistice Centenary to be held on November 10.

Events coordinator Caz Dingle said the string ensemble will perform different styles of music including classical, jazz, Latin and contemporary.

"This will truly be a one of a kind event for the South Burnett,” she said.

"You can have a great night and support dedicated local musicians.”

The music will be accompanied by a gourmet three-course dinner and Cranes Wines and other drinks will be available for purchase on the night.

The show will be at Cassis at Booie on Haydens and Schellbachs Rd and the limited bookings must be done by Friday June 1.
