Rafters star fronts court on drug charges
AUSTRALIAN actor Ryan Corr - best known as Coby Jennings on Packed to the Rafters - has faced court after being busted in May with a freezer bag of heroin in a Sydney laneway.
Corr faced Waverly Local Court on Tuesday morning, charged with possession of an illegal substance.
The actor, who won critical acclaim for his part in Wolf Creek 2, did not have a conviction recorded against him.
Nine News reports his solicitor Chris Murphy told the court the actor was "at the top of his brilliant career".
The court heard Corr's grandfather died after a heart attack shortly before the incident and the actor was distressed.
It would have been the actor's first time using heroin, the court heard.
Corr was put on a good behaviour bond for 12 months.
