Pedals to power colourful fundraising event for LifeFlight

QUEENSLAND'S biggest adventure park is set to host its annual charity ride, but with a colourful twist.

The Manar Park crew encourages riders to wear a white t-shirt for the inaugural RACQ LifeFlight Enduro Colour Ride on Saturday and Sunday.

The Endurance Loop Ride will start at 7am on Saturday, and will involve participants being drenched in bright colours after each lap.

The park's part-owner Robyn Ellis said the purpose behind the event was to give back to the organisation and crew who helped them in times of need.

"LifeFlight provides a great service to our guests when unwanted situations arise and people need to be flown out of the park,” Mrs Ellis said.

"It's our way of showing them our appreciation for their dedicated work.

"All of the fundraising will be donated to LifeFlight.”

Mrs Ellis said the event was also about encouraging riders to test their skills in a safe environment.

"It's not a race,” she said.

"We want as many people to come along and participate.”

Registration fees cost $20 for adults, $5 for children, while a family pass is $30.

There will also be a sausage sizzle on Saturday night.
