CRITICAL CONDITION: Driver rolls car, collides with tree
UPDATE: A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson has confirmed the driver of a car that rolled at Peachester this morning is in a critical condition.
The male driver was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with critical chest and abdominal injuries about 8am after the truck rolled on Commissioners Flat Rd and Reserve Ln.
It is believed the driver rolled and collided with a tree.
The QAS spokesperson said a 'critical care' paramedic was on board the ambulance that transported the driver.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services had to cut the driver from the car using hydrolic rescue equipment.
Two QFES were on scene.
A QFES spokesman said once the driver was freed from the car he was placed in the hands of paramedics.
UPDATE: A Queensland Ambulance Spokeswoman said the driver of the truck that rolled at Peachester this morning would need to be cut free.
Emergency services got the call before 6.30am this morning to reports of a single vehicle roll over on Commissioners Flat Rd and Reserve Ln.
The QAS spokeswoman said the truck was damaged the crash and restricted the driver from being able to get out.
Paramedics reported the driver to be suffering from chest pain however 'appeared to be okay'.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are on their way.
EARLIER: EMERGENCY services have just arrived on scene of a single vehicle roll over at Peachester.
It is believed a truck rolled on its side on Commissioners Flat Rd and Reserve Ln.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were treating one patient who was suffering from chest pain.
She said the person was still inside the vehicle, but was not trapped.
