After six rounds of the 2018 Football South Burnett season the Kingaroy Wests are at the top of the ladder in the men's competition and the Nanango Panthers ladies remain undefeated.

The Gunners and Wests have won five games each while Nanango are yet to win a game this season.

Barambah and Nanango men's teams have played one less game than the Gunners and Wests so far this season.

In the ladies competition the Panthers continue to dominate the competition with Barambah in second place and the Gunnettes yet to win a game.

On Friday night Kade Buckle scored for Barambah in the seventh minute during their game against the Wests but the Kingaroy side proved to strong in the cold conditions to win the game six goals to two.

Ryan McCabe and Caleb Jenkins each found the net twice for the Wests while the other goals of the game came from Chaz Fuller, Thomas Carroll and Barambah's Brendan Kelly.

In Nanango Nigel Kaiulo scored two goals for the Gunners and Adrian Watt found the net in the 64th minute to ensure the Kingaroy side defeated Nanango three goals to one.

In the ladies games Wests and Barambah game ended in a one-all draw and the Gunnettes were unable to score against Nanango for the Panthers to win by three.
