Pioneer family to reunite once more

A BIG roll call will be held for members of the Birch family this weekend.

The 11th Birch family pioneer reunion will be held in Nanango on Saturday, May 4 from 10am.

This will mark the 30th anniversary of the reunions which was started by Mrs Joy Caddie (nee Birch).

The event will be held at the Nanango Golf Club and will cost $15 per family to assist with running costs.

Birch family members are encouraged to bring plenty of memorabilia for the special occasion, which will be nostalgia for older people and revelations for younger family members.

A roll call will be held with a brief response from a member of each of the family groups from 11am.

Photographs and a barbecue lunch will follow from noon.

People are encouraged to join in some 'backyard games' such as cricket or baseball on the day.

Any Birch descendants interested in joining in the reunion must RSVP by Friday April 5. Please contact Caroline Birch on 0415775963.

There will also be merchandise for sale with the birch crest including a key chain, coffee mug and metal water bottle which can be pre-ordered for the day. To pre-order contact Sheri Birch on 0427362674.
