Police charge man found with machete
A PROSTON man will face court on a string of charges, including being in possession of a machete.
At 7.20am on Monday, May 20, police stopped the 39-year-old man who was driving a Mitsubishi sedan on the D'Aguilar Highway.
The vehicle was unregistered, he was not carrying registration plates, and it is alleged the man's licence had expired.
Police also discovered a machete in the vehicle.
The man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday, June 17.
Charges include driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving a motor vehicle without a drivers licence and possession of a knife in a public place.
