Q and A: Radio host's unusual bad habit
THERE are so many truly remarkable people in the South Burnett.
Each and every one of us has a lifetime of achievements, thoughts, beliefs and lessons learned.
The Q and A feature is an opportunity to showcase some of the exceptional people in our proud region.
This week, we hear from South Burnett Relay for Life volunteer and radio announcer, Chantal Harth.
1/ What is something you resent paying for?
I hate having to pay for water. But I do understand that at times you do have to purchase water.
2/ What is the best advice you have ever received?
To always be kind no matter what, as you never know what someone is going through and that a simple smile can make some ones day.
3/ What do you do to relax?
Sitting on my back verandah with a cold beverage or two usually helps
4/ What is one thing you would struggle to quit?
I would struggle to quit being sarcastic
5/ What do you wish you knew when you were younger?
That life is short and you shouldn't waste a minute being unhappy or caring what others think.
6/ What is the worst injury you've had and how did it happen?
I had a broken arm and thumb after my primary school teacher had us running backwards for training, my foot got caught in a grass root and I fell backwards.
7/ What would your friends say is your worst habit?
Apparently I can be too friendly and can apologise too much for things.
8/ What's the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
My Mum helps me on a daily basis when she should be off enjoying her life - I swear she is an angel.
9/ If you could write a new law what would it be?
I think we need to amend a lot of the current laws before adding any more.
10. What do you do when you have 30 minutes free?
Watch some stand-up comedy or write in my journal.
