Qld death probe: Man couldn't be revived after fight

HOMICIDE detectives have launched an investigation after a man died in the Brisbane suburb of Murarrie overnight.

Officers were called to an address on Herbert Street shortly before midnight following reports a man had been assaulted during an altercation between two men.

On arrival, police located a man at the address who was unconscious.

The man unable to be revived and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A 28-year-old man was also located at the scene and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
