Reiger races to MM crown

Golf: Craig Reiger shot 68 nett on his way to Kingaroy Golf Club's A-grade monthly medal on Saturday.

Reiger finished with a two-shot advantage over runner-up Tim Robe, and pocketed a cool $30 plus bragging rights for his troubles.

Greg Nord bested all-comers in B-grade, shooting 69 to claim top honours ahead of Des McInnes' 72, while Ralph Argue's 70 was enough to outlast C-grade runner-up Kyron Tunstall (73).

Continuing his impressive run of form, Graham Hourn against finished the gross leader, shooting a two-over 73.

Shayne Labuschewski's short game proved the envy of his peers on Saturday, managing 23 with the putter to lead all A-graders.

Bill Paterson and Barry Lewis were just as efficient on the greens, going for 30 and 29 strokes respectively in the B-grade and C-grade divisions.
