REVEALED: Academic ratings for South Burnett schools

THE top ranked South Burnett primary schools for 2018 have been revealed.

The primary school ratings for 2018 were published on the Better Education website, which specialises in ranking schools based on results for parents and anyone involved in education to compare schools.

Cooyar State School and Tanduringie State School were the highest ranked schools in the South Burnett with a rank of 97 out of 100 for overall academic performance.

The lowest ranked school was Cherbourg State School with a score of 66, followed by Proston State School and St Patrick's School Nanango with a score of 67.

The Better Education website recognises that there are a large range of factors that impact on academic results in addition to the role played by the school itself.
