REVEALED: Your guide to Bunnings' grand opening festivities

KINGAROY Bunnings is now only a day away from openings its doors to South Burnett shoppers.

Complex manager Chris Carter has revealed he and his team will welcome customers into the store for the first time from 6am on Friday, May 31.

"We've been super busy here getting ready for the big day," Mr Carter said.

"There's still a lot to do though. Then we've got heaps to get ready for our first grand opening night."

Although Bunnings will be open to the public from Friday, it will hold its three-day grand opening event later, from Friday, June 7.

Here's a breakdown of the official grand opening:

FRIDAY, JUNE 7

5-8pm: Jumping castle, face painting, popcorn, snow cones, slushies, fairy floss, photo booth, animal farm and Paw Patrol Show.

8pm: Fireworks display.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8

9am-2pm: Jumping castle, face painting, popcorn, snow cones, slushies, fairy floss, photo booth and animal farm.

SUNDAY, JUNE 9

9am-2pm: Jumping castle, face painting, popcorn, snow cones, slushies, fairy floss, photo booth and animal farm.

11am-2pm: Sesame Street meet and greet with Zoe and Elmo.

SATURDAY, JUNE 15

9am-1pm: Jumping castle, face painting, popcorn, snow cones, slushies, fairy floss, photo booth and animal farm.

11am-2pm: PJ Masks Meet and Greet.

SUNDAY, JUNE 16

9am-1pm: Jumping castle, face painting, popcorn, snow cones, slushies, fairy floss, photo booth and animal farm.
