POLICE NEWS: Routine tests land drivers in court
POLICE officers nabbed a number of people driving illegally while conducting 65 roadside tests between February 25 and March 3.
Two Kingaroy drivers will also appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court for offences allegedly committed behind the wheel last week.
A 39-year-old Kingaroy man was suspended from driving for 24 hours after allegedly returning a positive roadside drug test on Monday.
He was intercepted driving a green Mitsubishi Delica on Haly St and will appear in court on April 23.
Less than five hours later a 32-year-old man driving a white Toyota Landcruiser on Haly St allegedly tested positive for drugs.
The man will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 1 charged with drug driving.
