Safari season is here again for Jeep concepts
JEEP is hard to beat when it comes to concept vehicles, and for this month's annual Easter Safari in Moab, Utah, it has teamed up with Mopar to debut some very tough desirables.
The Easter Jeep Safari is a Mecca for die-hard Jeep off-road enthusiasts, with thousands attending to enjoy a week of serious off-roading fun across some of America's most challenging trails.
The Wrangler is the typical base for these concepts, with standouts being the Safari, Quicksand, Switchback and Luminator.

The Safari is about "bringing the outdoors in" with a translucent hard-top roof panel and clear vinyl "windoors" to go with 18-inch wheels and 35-inch mud-terrain tyres.
The Quicksand is a proper long-wheelbase hot rod with a Mopar 392 Crate Hemi engine, chopped roof and trimmed front and rear body, all ideal for sand dune hopping.

Meanwhile the Switchback is for serious off-roading with 37-inch mud tyres, four-inch lift kit, winch and an abundance of exterior lighting.

The Luminator also does a grand job of lighting the way thanks to Magneti Marelli input, including magnetic underbody rock lights and 7-inch LED projector headlamps. This one also features a lighted drone with its own drone landing pad on the roof.
