See any spirits this Halloween?
SOUTH BURNETT paranormal investigator Andrew Green believes spirits are all around us, we just tend to notice them more at times like Halloween.
Mr Green is one half of South Burnett Paranormal (SBP), run by him and James Webb.
The duo spend their free time investigating any paranormal activity within the South Burnett. This usually involves connecting with spirits.
According to Mr Green, all of us fall into three categories.
We're either 100 per cent believers, interested and open to the idea of spirits living with or around us, or nonbelievers.
"They're all around us," he said.
"If you're looking for spirits you're probably going to find them.
"Those of us who are more open to the idea will probably encounter more. Just because we are on the lookout."
Mr Green said this could also be said for why people report more paranormal activity at night time or on Halloween.
"They're probably there trying to get your attention all of the time," he said.
"It's just that at night time there's less distractions.
"Less noise and less light. That way you're more likely to hear and see things."
SBP will go out to any reported paranormal investigation to try and connect with the spirit.
"Usually once the spirit has been able to get their message across they will leave you alone," Mr Green said.
"All of us have spirits around us who just want to connect.
"You just have to keep your eyes open and be on the lookout. Most spirits are harmless and just want to be heard."
