See the best of life captured through these artists' lens
PEER through the lens of some of Kingaroy's passionate photographers at their latest exhibition.
Kingaroy library is showcasing the work of the Kingaroy Photographic Club throughout February.
Club secretary and competition steward Rosemary Pratt said the group welcomed anyone to join in.
"Call into the library and see what we do," she said.
The exhibition showcases the work the Kingaroy club's members entered in the Cliff Krebs interclub competition last year.
The Kingaroy club took their turn to host the competition last October, which is named after a long-term Murgon club member Cliff Krebs.
They came second in the interclub competition which focuses on print photography, and is held between the Kingaroy, Nanango, and Murgon Photographic Clubs and Timber Town Digital Arts Association.
Kingaroy Photographic Club meets once a month on every third Tuesday, and occasionally for photoshoots on weekends.
"Expensive equipment is not required, whatever camera you use, and everyone's work is valued," Mrs Pratt said.
Photographers at any level are welcome to come along, and more experienced photographers will be willing to answer any questions.
"We hold friendly monthly in club competitions to develop our skills and share our images, and enjoy photoshoots around the district," she said.
The next meeting will be held at the Kingaroy State High School community hall on Tuesday, February 19 at 6.30pm.
