Services to continue during library upgrade

SERVICES will continue to be available to South Burnett residents while the Nanango Administration and Library building is upgraded.

A selection of library resources will be available to borrow at the temporary Nanango Boutique Library from Wednesday, May 8, next to the Nanango Visitor Information Centre in the Scott St carpark.

Library staff will also be available to help borrowers find and reserve items from the greater South Burnett Regional Council Library network.

Library users will be able to collect their requested items from the temporary Nanango Library location at their convenience.

Residents can stay connected via Wi-Fi access and two public access computers available for use in the Visitor Information Centre, to be booked through the library staff.

The town's youngest residents will also be catered for with story time every Wednesday at 10.30am at Ringsfield House, and rhyme time sessions held in conjunction with Child Health from 9-11am on Tuesday mornings in the chapel at Ringsfield House.

Ringsfield will also accommodate mediation sessions every Monday at 10.30am.
