'Spared no expense': Carrollee renovations set to impress
KINGAROY'S Carrollee Hotel's renovations are sure to impress whoever steps foot into the building.
From those who have been excitedly awaiting the big reveal, to those who are simply curious of what has changed, both visitors and regulars will be in for a treat.
With new flooring, paint jobs and more, the Carrollee Hotel has spared no expense to bring the old pub and restaurant into the 21st century.
The Carrollee's venue manager Alan Lennan said a lot of work has been done since it first started in November and he believes the customers have been very eager to see what's changed.
"Everyone is all very excited and are happy to see the grand reopening,” he said.
"We want to let everyone know we appreciate the fact that a number of people have put up with the beer garden and had been sitting out the back very patiently for the renovations to finish.”
Though they still attracted a healthy crowd before the renovations, Mr Lennan said they were in dire need of an upgrade.
"The hotel was a little bit tired, but it's now very fresh and vibrant. Everyone was very particular in the way they went about it,” he said.
"No expense was spared delivering the final product.”
Mr Lennan said he'd like to give a big thank to Hot Concepts from Brisbane, for bringing such a high quality level of work.
He would also like to thank all of the local tradesmen that assisted during the renovating process.
With the Carrollee Hotel boasting a more luxurious image, there is bound to be people showing interest on their official grand re-opening, which will take place this Saturday, June 15.
