Stolen car driven across Burnett in crime-filled joyride
A STOLEN car has been taken for a crime-filled, action-packed joyride across the South Burnett, before being abandoned in Cherbourg.
On Saturday, July 12 between 11am and 11pm unknown offenders broke into a business on Haly St, where they allegedly stole two sets of car keys and a 2006 Toyota sedan.
The stolen car was first spotted being driven through Wooroolin around 5pm.
It was then spotted again at an alleged break in at Boat Mountain Rd in Murgon at 10.30pm.
The stolen car was abandoned, and then found in Cherbourg just after 11pm.
Police are investigating the case.
