Chaos reigns as rail commuters face lengthy waits
UPDATE 8.54am: COMMUTERS heading into Brisbane City could still face waits of up to 45 minutes as Queensland Rail's network remains clogged after a powerline issue this morning.
At 8.45am, TransLink confirmed trains were now running on all lines, after earlier suspending all services between Albion and Bowen Hills.
It warned waits of up to 45 minutes could be expected on some services.
For those on the Ferny Grove train line, that wait blows out to 60 minutes.

EARLIER: Sunshine Coast, Ipswich rail commuters face delays
A POWERLINE issue at an inner-Brisbane train station means rail commuters heading into the city's CBD from every direction can expect delays of up to an hour this morning.
Queensland Rail have confirmed an overhead powerline problem at Bowen Hills station means trains travelling in both directions are suspended.
Technicians are now on site attempting to repair the issue.
Thanks to the overhead powerline issue:

- Sunshine Coast, Caboolture, Airport, Shorncliffe and Doomben line trains are suspended both directions between Albion and South Brisbane stations
- Gold Coast, Beenleigh, and Cleveland line trains are suspended both directions between South Brisbane and Bowen Hills stations
- Ferny Grove line trains are suspended both directions between Mitchelton and Bowen Hills stations
