Tamara in pole position for Queensland titles
AFTER making a sold out Sydney audience break into fits of laughter with her comedic Deadpool pole dancing performance in Sydney two weeks ago, Tamara is hitting the stage again this weekend in Brisbane.
This time she's swapping her flat boots for 7 inch heels to perform in the Miss Pole Dance Queensland Heats on Sunday, August 14 at the Tivoli.
Tamara, 33, is one of 16 state finalists competing and the only competitor from outside of South-East Queensland.
Representing Beyond Gravity Pole Fitness Academy, she said she looked forward to performing on stage in her first 'Professional' event.
"One minute I am buzzing with excitement and then the next minute, I could vomit," she laughed.
The winner on the night will be accepted to compete in Miss Pole Dance Australia later this year in Sydney.
Beyond Gravity Pole Fitness Academy principal Emma McDonald said a lot of commitment and hard work has gone into Tamara's performances this year.
"We are proud to see her represent Central Queensland in a state competition - she was actually an automatic entry into Miss Pole Dance Queensland due to her success in the Queensland Pole Championships last year," she said.
"We'll be cheering Tamara on throughout the weekend to do her very best and most importantly have a blast!"
