Teen bitten by dog rushed to hospital

A TEENAGER was rushed to hospital last night after he was bitten by a dog.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the boy in his early teens was bitten by the dog at a private residence in Proston at 7.45pm on Saturday.

Paramedics treated the teenager for injuries to his lower leg and arms.

He was transported in a stable condition to Kingaroy Hospital for further treatment.
