The best Burnett plants to feature in Garden Expo

THE WONDAI Spring Garden Expo is back for another year of plant-based fun.

According to Wondai Garden Expo president Helen Young, the committee looks forward to celebrating Spring with the attendees, as well as giving them a hint of gardening inspiration over Saturday and Sunday, September 28 and 29.

Ms Young said that people can expect a great variety of nursery stalls, and some exciting new faces to the entire event.

The stalls will be backed up with a grand display of house and garden tools, decorator items and gift ideas, as well as also featuring a range of sort after plants for everyone's garden.

Ms Young said these plants include bush house foliage, many types of succulents, orchids and edible fruiting plants and trees as well as native shrubs and trees.

"There will also be the usual selection of seasonal flowers and annual herbs and vegetables,” she said.

For rose enthusiasts, you're in luck.

The Wondai Garden Expo committee reveals how you can expect to see one of the best collections of potted roses available anywhere and also stated that nearly every garden has at least one small rose display.

"Embracing all popular types of roses, both hardy old favourites and new varieties, you will be sure to find just the right one to fill that vacant spot or buy a collection and start a whole new rose garden,” Ms Young said.
