The council hits the road around Burnett
SOUTH Burnett Regional Council is travelling across the region all month to present the progress from the past 12 months in government.
The roadshow is coming to Kingaroy Town Hall on Monday, September 25, hosted by the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce, starting at 5.30pm.
It will feature presentations from the council on the pre-qualified supplier list, contractor management system, the 2020 South Burnett Economic Development Strategy and an update of the council's activity from the 2016-17 Annual Report.
South Burnett Mayor Keith Campbell said as the council had reached a 12-month milestone a lot of progress had been made.
"The roadshow plans to give you details of our achievements,” Cr Campbell said.
"There will be time to discuss any particular matters with councillors in attendance and I encourage you to be an active part of your council's future.”

AgForce South East Queensland will host an event at Durong Hall on Tuesday, September 26, at noon.
BIEDO will host a forum at Proston Hall on Tuesday, September 26, at 5.30pm.
The last roadshow event will be at Maidenwell Hall hosted by the Maidenwell Community Group on Wednesday, September 27, at 5.30pm.
A barbecue lunch or dinner will be available for purchase at each roadshow event to enable fundraising for some of the South Burnett's community organisations.
