UPDATE: QUEENSLAND Police say they have identified the man involved with the assault of a tow truck driver at Caboolture but are still attempting to locate him.
On February 8 at around 1.50pm a tow truck and a white car were travelling north along the Bruce Highway, Caboolture when they both took the Caboolture exit. A short time later both vehicles pulled over to the side of the road near the exit to Burnett Lane.
The male driver of the car exited his vehicle and punched the front window of the truck, as well as kicking at the driver's side door several times, before throwing punches at the driver.
The man yelled abuse at the 48-year-old male tow truck driver before getting back in his car.
The tow truck driver drove to Caboolture Police Station to report the incident. He was not physically injured as a result of the assault and police investigations are continuing.

Clayton's Towing recently posted on their Facebook page saying they have "now informed police who the person is".
"Thank you - we have been inundated with messages and phone calls informing us of who the man is in the photos posted one hour ago.
"It is so great to see that so many people do care and want to work together to stop rage incidents like this happening again," they said.
EARLIER: DO you know this man?
That is the question Clayton's Towing is asking Sunshine Coast residents on Facebook.
The company shared the photo on their Facebook page to try and identify the man.
He was allegedly involved in a road rage incident with some of their staff.
Clayton's Towing said the man "went into a severe rage episode" resulting in an "unprovoked attack".
"This man went into a severe rage episode, turning his vehicle towards our truck, cracking the windscreen, kicking the door in and assaulting our staff member through the driver window.
"We have not posted the video for our drivers safety and privacy, but the full footage has been forwarded to the police, showing it was an unprovoked attack with our driver simply driving behind the vehicle at a safe distance before being stopped," they said.
The incident occurred in Caboolture.
Clayton's Towing say police are unable to identify the man.
"Please feel welcome to private message or anonymously call us if you know this person.
"We want to do all that we can to make sure that this guy is found. We would hate to see this happen again with a worse result to some one else," they said.
